Pop Up Poetry Cocoon

Drop in, pick a prompt, and let the words flow. Over two days, we invite you to respond to playful prompts and curious words to craft your own short poem which will be displayed over the weekend. Return on the final day to share your piece in an informal reading with fellow writers. All are welcome no experience needed, just imagination. Running alongside this you can explore Poetry Cocoon / Cocún Filíochta — a calm, bi-lingual self-guided space to experience poetry through themes of healing, nature, love and connection, featuring poets Emer Fallon, Nicholas McLachlan, Simon Ó Faoláin, Maggie Breen, and poetry films by John Kennedy.

Is taispeántas idirghníomhach, dátheangach é Cocún Filíochta; is féidir leis an lucht féachana taitneamh a bhaint as filíocht i spás ciúin, suaimhneach. Obair ó cheathrar filí iontacha ó Chorca Dhuibhne, Emer Fallon (scríbhneoir cónaithe le Comhairle Contae Chiarraí), Nicholas McLachlan, Simon Ó Faoláin agus Maggie Breen, chomh maith leis an scannánóir John Kennedy, atá san áireamh, a phléann le téamaí an leighis, an dúlra, an ghrá agus caidrimh.
