We were delighted to host a Pop Up Poetry event at this years Dingle Lit festival. Over two days, people were invited to respond to playful prompts and curious words to craft their own short poem which was displayed over the weekend. On Sunday afternoon we read from the board and were treated to beautiful readings from Maggie Breen and Emer Fallon.
Running alongside the poetry we hosted Poetry Cocoon / Cocún Filíochta — a calm, bi-lingual self-guided space to experience poetry through themes of healing, nature, love and connection, featuring poets Emer Fallon, Nicholas McLachlan, Simon Ó Faoláin, Maggie Breen, and poetry films by John Kennedy.
